Unification Plans

The Warwickshire Golf Union (WGU) and the Warwickshire Ladies County Golf Association (WLCGA) are holding two joint presentations on Thursday 21st May to bring golf clubs across the county up to date with the proposed unification plans for Warwickshire Golf.

These events are being held at the West Midlands Golf Club on 21st May at 2.00pm – 4.00pm with a second session later at 6.00pm – 8.00pm, when full details and the benefits of the proposed merger between WGU and WLCGA will be outlined.

General managers, chairs/directors of club boards, proprietors, club captains, ladies’ captains, WLCGA club delegates and other interested club officials of all Warwickshire golf clubs are invited to attend one of these events to find out about the benefits, the proposed timeline and ask any questions concerning the proposed unification from both WGU and WLCGA representatives.

To register for a place/s, please confirm via events@warwickshiregolf.com with the names of those from your club wishing to attend, together with your preferred time slot for attendance on 21st May.
