The Warwickshire Golf Union (WGU) and the Warwickshire Ladies County Golf Association (WLCGA) are holding two joint presentations on Thursday 21st May to bring golf clubs across the county up to date with the proposed unification plans for Warwickshire Golf.These events are being held at the West Midlands Golf Club on 21st May at 2.00pm – 4.00pm with a second session later at 6.00pm – 8.00pm, when full details and the benefits of the proposed

The 2025 Bainbridge Shield Final was played on Sunday 26th April at Kenilworth Golf Club between teams from Stonebridge Golf Club and Olton Golf Club. The event, a scratch foursomes competition played between pairs representing Warwickshire Golf Clubs has been played since 1906 and in the first seven years of playing, Olton Golf Club were winners on five occasions. Olton, this year, were represented by Rob Tovey and Ryan Hinsley and their opponents Stonebridge Golf

 On day 1 the boys had an excellent victory v Worcestershire. Having lost the first three matches there was a concerted fightback ending with an excellent 5-3 victory. Also winning on day 1 were Gloucestershire who beat Staffordshire 5 1/2 to 2 1/2.On day 2 the boys played Gloucestershire in the morning and in a hard fought contest that was close the whole way gained an honourable half 4 -4 which based on the contest
