County Cards Offer tremendous Value

Brief Summary

The County Card offers discounted green fees at more than 1,400 participating golf clubs across the country to men and women who are members of a club affiliated to Warwickshire Golf. There is no fee for the use of the County Card, it is a benefit of affiliation to the County.

The cardholder is entitled to receive reduced green fees at host participating clubs. The discount rate may vary from club to club, but normally you are charged the members guest green fee when playing at participating courses.

To see a full list of the participating Clubs please click here to visit the BB&O County website who administer the scheme nationally.

For additional Norfolk clubs on the scheme please click here to view.

Please note that the only English County not involved with the scheme is Suffolk.

how to apply / obtain a card

The County Card can now only be obtained via the igcounty App, which can be downloaded via the menu link to the right of this page if using a laptop or desktop, or the bottom of the page if using a smartphone. The App works on both Apple and Android devices.

The App also offers a host of other features, including news, upcoming and past competitions, contact details and County contact details.

If your App does not automatically update your card, please refresh the App on your phone (see instructions on the side bar on the right of this page). The App once updated, will show an expiration date of 31st March 2024.

Please read carefully below the rules of the County Card Scheme. They can also be found on the reverse of each Card. Enforcement of the rules listed below is at the sole discretion of each individual Golf Club:

  • The Card may only be accepted once per Club in any one Affiliation year.
  • The Card is non-transferable and for the sole use of the signatory.
  • The Card must only be used by a current member of a Club affiliated to WUGC and must be completed and signed by the cardholder before use.
  • To avoid disappointment, all cardholders MUST contact the Club they wish to visit prior to arrival, and tee times booked in advance wherever possible.
  • All players MUST adhere to each individual Clubs guidelines relating to etiquette, dress code and local rules.
  • This Card may not be accepted for groups larger than four.
  • Any misuse of the Card will be reported directly to the cardholder’s home Club.
  • The 2024 Card is valid from 01/01/24 and expires on 31/03/25.

Prior to using the Card, you must validate it by completing the 3 signature strips on the reverse of the card. This includes completing your name, signature and “CDH Number”.

“CDH” stands for Central Database of Handicaps. Each golfer that holds a CONGU handicap is given a unique 10 digit number, which relates to a golfer’s CONGU handicap and is unique to each person. If your Club has uploaded to CDH and you don’t know your number your Club should be able to provide this information.

We hope you enjoy using your County Card.
